In order to meet the November 2017 DSCSA requirements, Stason has partnered with Optel Vision and Tracelink to provide a serialization solution from the line, to company level (L1-L4). Stason’s system provides automated printing and inspecting of DSCSA compliant human readable bar codes for bottle labels and cartons. The serialized units have the capability to be aggregated on an inner case, shipper case, and pallet level (4 levels of aggregation). Each event is captured in an EPCIS repository, which is compliant with GS1 standards and can be shared to brand owners and downstream partners. The serialization information including Transaction Information (TI), Transaction History (TH), and Transaction Statement (TS) is stored and managed through Tracelink’s cloud services.
